So, I should’ve worn the outfit below today instead of yesterday🙈 I walked outside and it was almost 80 degrees!!!! Of course today it is cool and rainy… oops!!!! If you haven’t noticed in the past couple of years since starting my blog, I loooove anything with elbow patches! I found my sweater on super sale at Urban Outfitters!! I’m a sucker for elbow patches and neutral colors!!
So, let me just start off by saying that the wind was NOT my friend when we were taking these pictures… No matter where I went the wind ruined the picture 🙈 Oh well! Anyway, you all NEED the skirt I’m wearing above!!!!! I’ll definitely be wearing it this winter to a Christmas party or something!! I just saw that the site has it in hunter green.. I’m trying really hard not to add it my cart….
I have some super exciting news!!!!!! I became an aunt of Thursday evening to the sweetest little boy name Rowen!!! I’m soooooo in love with him!!! He is perfect in every way, but a few prayers would be appreciated:)
We headed to Austin, Texas to visit my grandma and some other family. This is the first time for most of them to meet Libbey. The trip took about twice as long with a baby and a few minor delays with a window not wanting to roll back up. Libbey did good except for one melt down. I will take it! This is my take on a comfy travel outfit. What morning is complete without a white chocolate mocha too?
This picture makes me laugh, Libbey’s little head. haha
(She was not ready for the long day ahead of her.)
This was the first day in Texas at my grandmas who is still in the Christmas spirit, obviously. It wasn’t a very eventful day. It was rainy though which was just ANOTHER excuse to wear my boots for probably 5/7 days this week.
New Year’s Eve, me and my husband, JD, went to a wedding and left Libbey with her grandma to babysit. I was super excited, OBVI, to wear my new gold sequin skirt and red high heels. I am obsessed with this gold skirt and I die for anything with sequins! The red heels gave it a nice pop of color too!
I never got a picture of my whole out from New Year’s so I just threw what I wore together and took a picture with my phone. Excuse the bad quality. Me and Amanda think a lot alike apparently with wearing the same shoes and jewelry. I almost had a bit of a men’s wear look going on and also added a pop of color with the red heels. My heels got ruined that night:( Note to self: do not wear colored shoes in largely populated areas. So sad. I also wore Lady Danger by MAC. It matches my shoes perfectly. I had a fun night with my boyfriend and one of my close friends in the picture with me(top left).
We went shopping and both us showed up wearing our new pink Hunter wellies. We both had styled our outfits differently though. It kind of felt like back in the day when our mom dressed us up in matching clothes constantly. I don’t hate it.
Emilee: Only had a picture that was posted from instagram. I wore a navy button-up with white polka dots, a jean jacket, a sparkly necklace from brina box, pink hunter wellies, and off-white corduroy pants!
Overall it was a successful day with our mom and miss Libbey. We got a few decorations for our friends we are throwing showers for. It seems everyone our age are now getting married and having babies, too exciting!
